Lovely and delicate, it would look as lovely worn over a vintage dress, as it would thrown over a white singlet with blue jeans and kitten heels. I can’t remember how this image ended up in my collection, but in searching for similar things, I’ve discovered that the loveliest boleros seem to be reserved for brides. Pah!! Buy a bridal bolero and wear it as you please, I say!

From last winter, yes, but this pic from The Sartorialist still inspires me. Love the autumn colours, the layering, the contrasting textures.
