A little more updo inspiration. When I’m a little more settled (read, not living out of a suitcase and changing cities every 7 days) I swear I’m going to wear my hair up like this more often.

Sometimes I feel like I want to wear my hair up every day. I would if it could look like this. Classic, elegant updos – not just for weddings!

White lace headpiece with silver beading by Mariana Hardwick of Australia. Her accessories are mostly for bridal wear, but if you love to wear pale tones in your hair like I do (to contrast against my black locks), then you could wear these any day.

Lovely and delicate, it would look as lovely worn over a vintage dress, as it would thrown over a white singlet with blue jeans and kitten heels. I can’t remember how this image ended up in my collection, but in searching for similar things, I’ve discovered that the loveliest boleros seem to be reserved for brides. Pah!! Buy a bridal bolero and wear it as you please, I say!
